CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

Identification of the main construction phases and the particular needs inherent to each phase, natural and built obstacles to construction works, accesses, logistics and mobility (both horizontal and vertical) within the site. Suggest the position of temporary site facilities, cranes and equipment.

Review of Contractors’ Program of Works, monitor and control of site activities, technical support for Interim Payments Certificates and production of periodic (bi-weekly or monthly) Reports to the Client. When necessary, issue studies and recommendations of necessary modifications/actions for alternative solutions or recovery plans.

Analysis of technical characteristics of proposed materials/equipment in relation with the approved project specifications. Evaluation of proposed subcontractors for specific sections of the works. Market researches, comparison and selection of alternative applicable technical solutions, different offers, and assistance on purchasing of goods and services.

Site Supervision carried out in accordance to international standards and the local legislation. Operations management, work site coordination and inspections, specific control and testing of subcontracted activities, materials supplied and adherence to technical specification and quality standards.

Quantity Surveying applied to lamp sum or re-measured Contracts. Activities related to preparation of Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), Variation Orders and Completion Certificates. Cost control reporting, comparison to approved budget and updated forecasted cost.
